no signal from pc to hdtv

I have gigabyte 460 gfx card and MSI 770-g45 motherboard. The TV ( LG lcd 32") sees no signal from the pc. I tried using 2 different cables ( minihdmi-hdmi / hdmi-hdmi with minihdmi adaptor with the mini head being for the gfx card). It worked before but I stopped using the TV 3-4 months ago (didnt have time for movies) and recently I tried to watch some and I got no signal. I changed nothing, motherboard drivers are the same but gpu drivers are updated ( I got no idea what version I had before). What could be the problem? Should I send it to the service department?

I don't think this is a driver issue, I think it's a desktop expansion issue.

am I correct in assuming you have a monitor plugged into the system as well?

If so the solution is located in the nvidia control panel under display.

I would also set resolution to 720p (1280x720) until you get it working properly.

Yes, a horizon lcd. I never keep both plugged in though. I now tried plugging both in and still there's no signal to the TV. What should I do in that control panel? I tried using that res and still no signal.

no signal specifically, or just a blank screen?
Are we certain we have the tv set for the right input?
mine has 6 hdmi's on it, and you have to tell it which one.
Which is confused by the fact they aren't numbered and apparently aren't even sequential.

The TV has a moving text saying "No signal" .
Mine has 2 hdmi inputs and I put it in nr 1 and selected it from the tvs menu. I tried using nr 2 input too.. still not working .

The input question still stands as well.

With both hooked up, under display does it even show multiple displays? or just the monitor?

I hope one of the other guru's monitoring this chimes in because I am actually starting to run out of ideas.
You wouldn't happen to have a pdf link to the manual for that tv would you?

oh and run into the nvidia control panel under 3d and make sure that it's set to multiple display mode instead of single display performance mode.

It's on multiple display performance mode. Is there a way to see what model the tv is from the control panel here or somewhere? I cant search for the paperwork right now and I dunno what model it is. It only says lg electronics tv
