I think that is a command decision, which only you can make, as in the end, all decisions are. It depends on what your options are, what is most important to you, and what you can afford.

Ok, i have got someware. HDMI is detected but its is of scale, what i mean is things are not on the screen, i cant see the taskbar at all. 1440 x 900 is the resolution i want to use but when i select it from display settings it just goes blank, but it supports higher resolutions like 1920 x 1080 but things are off the screen again.

Whats going on?

Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1

It may be possible that your TV/Monitor doe not support this required resolution (common in Plasma)
In this case you may have to settle for an alternative resolution
