Easiest way to tell if your PC can run a game is this. Can You RUN It | Can I run that game | Game system requirements
If you're close, try the game on low settings and see what it looks like.
According to here,
Intel Pentium B960 Notebook Processor - Notebookcheck.net Tech
it has the Intel HD Graphics 2000,
Intel HD Graphics 2000 / 100 - Notebookcheck.net Tech
which might be able to handle that game on all low settings, based on how well (or poorly) it does on other recent games.
It is a toshiba satellite c655, on the system settings it says intel hd family graphics, but I think I need a new driver. Whenever I start skyrim though, the screen flashes and skyrim quits. is this because of the intel hd?
According to the several reviews I have read, sorry to say you'll be lucky to get any modern games to go to 14 FPS which is no good.
baring in mind it's a Celeron one reviewer says "The bottom-of-the-barrel Celeron processor offers nearly Netbook-level performance" clearly not a good thing.
This is my first non-netbook computer, I just care if the game will run, I don't mind preformance.
the game could run, but at a non-playable framerate.
if the game quits, you can't run it. I had the same problem with Unreal Tournament 3 on my Acer Aspire One (with Intel Atom N270 HT and Intel Integrated GMA 945). The only thing you can try is to install different versions of graphics driver.
Integrated graphics cards are not designed for gaming.
I actually think te game quits because I had a pirated version. Btw my old up mini had an atom n270, and this new computer is waayyy better.
But back to my original question, what graphics card does a toshiba satellite c655 with intel pentium b960? And where can I get the latest driver?
