When I checked the Device Man. there was a SGA (stndrd.graphic adapter) driver only! My old graphic memory which was 64 mb got added into my RAM and now my RAM is 1088mb !! But how can I install this driver ?? No features of win7 are working , my screen also has smalll lines it , the resolution is weird !!!!!
I also checked the memory of the card through display prop. and it was only 16 mb !!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a card of 256mb . Please help.
here is a pic of how it looks in the D.M !

Apparently, not all of the Windows 7 features are supported by your graphics card. There aren't any W7 drivers so you might have to use Vista drivers.

    See this notice from AMD.

More like none due to the card only having 64 MB of memory on it. Windows 7 requires a minimum of 128 MB for Aero and such.

Correct. Pretty sure that the 64 bit and 32 bit (you linked to the 64 bit) are in the same installer, but just in case this is the 32 bit,

    ATI Catalyst

It may take using Compatibility Mode to get it to install. It will definitely also require a working AGP/GART driver (part of the chipset, and not part of the video driver) for the video driver to install.

midhun3197 it would help to know the make and model of the motherboard.

No it doesn't have 1088 MB of memory. What it has is this,

Video Memory Virtualization - A Brief Guide

which is a combination of what is on the card and the total system memory. It also won't help with things like Aero.

    Its MS-7104 motherboard.
I've tried to install ATI catalyst for win vista , but did nto help. It does not install.
When I first plugged the video card , I got a notification that windows is installing a driver. When I opened it it showed Unidefined driver. I went to the D.M and uninstalled it. Now I am not getting and notificatoins on it! Will this card work if I uninstalled win7 and Install Win xp ????

Don't install Catalyst. Try using only the driver package. It's Option 2 in the AMD link above.

    Or here: ATI Catalyst
