Ok everyone, I opened another thread in the GPU section but I may get better results here. I installed the card, everything turns on fine and dandy. But the darn video driver refuses to install. CCC is there but won't open, and trying to install the driver through device manager or custom settings in the amd installer produce no results. I did however dig
Up the disc from the 4350 with CCC version 9.6. My best guess right now is to uninstall CCC and then reinstall it off of the disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can you post what it says,an error code? Error messige? Did you completely remove all the previous drivers?

Well when I install through ati, it simply says there was an error. And when I go into device manager and click update, it says "data error (cyclic

And on a side note, I didn't remove all at first but after I put the new card in I did. And I've also run driver sweeper twice

Mmm, okay what I would do is format. But you can try to go into device maniger,and see if your card is listed,if it is,then uninstall all the drivers from it. After this,go into windows update and let it update the card for you, then After this, install ccc.
Or try installing only ati without the extra's or catalyst, if this works,then install catalyst after downloading it separatly.
If this still doesnt work remove the card, gointo safe mode, enabling only basic settings,and removing all things related to your old card and also direct x and vc drivers. Then shutdown, install the card and install drivers of the disk.
And if all else fails format. But first try some easy stuff as in installing an older driver, or the previous reliece driver.

Ok sweet, right now I'm copying all of my files over to an external drive. And I was doing some looking and it said that a cyclic redundancy check means there's a bad sector/file on the drive so I'm going to run chkdsk as

Goodluck. Personally I Never install a new hardwar(gpu/cpu) without a fresh format. Then you know its as clean install as can be. Let me know what happens after disk check.
