    Resolution problem

My native resolution is 1600x1200 but when i change my resolution to 1600x1200 it says 'frequency out range'. I have intel g31 without other graphic card. Then i installed gma driver it shows complete list of all resolutions but i cant set any resolution above 1600x900. But it looks everything blured with this resolution. Help me to set 1600x1200.Thanks

    your native resolution for what?
1600x1200 is a 4:3 format--what kind of monitor do you have? Widescreen flat panel? or older CRT? widescreens are usually 16:9 or 16:10--CRTs are 4:3
did the monitor come with a 'driver' disk?

see this link for resolution comparisons

also see this link from Intel about Native Graphics Resolution

could be you need to uninstall/reinstall video driver for the G31 chipset--here's one place to download it: (check your current video driver in your device manager first)

I have lg flatron it says 'set resolution to 1600x900 for optimal view', but this resolution looks vierd all text are blured. Windows shows 1600x1200 as max resolution, without installing graphic driver.

there should be 'windows' settings that need adjustment--or driver/control panel settings that need adjustment.
I recommend returning it to the store where you purchased it--or--go to store and have them show you how to set it up--or--contact LG support

LG lists the native resolution as 1600X900.

If I understand LG's spec page on it, it only has an analog (VGA, HD15) interface.

Have you been able to find a driver for the monitor? (It's not really a driver; rather, it's an .inf file that defines its capabilities.)
