Going to buy a new graphic card to replace my current 260 I have, but instead of getting rid of this card I want to give it to my brother that have exactly the same model and card. But I am not sure if his PSU is enough, he got a Corsair HX 650 would it be possible for him to run these cards in SLI? or just have both installed and use 1 for phys x?

a 650W PSU should be enough for SLI 2 GTX 260... Post the specs of your brother's pc please.. :)
yes, you can use a GTX 260 as the main GPU and the other GTX 260 as a PPU, but you would not gain the same performance boost which the SLI bridge gives.
I have tried HT off and on and in gaming I don't notice any performance boost, and I don't do any kind of benchmarking so left it off to reduce heat. and I will try it. But if it don't work how is the computer going to react so I know what to look for etc, this would be the first time ever running SLI

If you SLI 2 GTX 260, you will receive a 35-60% performance increase in games, reaching the GTX 295's performance (i searched in internet and I founded that a lot of people say this). This would be a nice boost, and maybe you will be able to set some settings in games at a higher level... For example, SLI helps a lot with the Antialiasing!

I searched on internet and i find that your motherboard supports only CrossfireX and not SLI... I see also that yor motherboard has got 2 PCI-express slots, but one of them run at x4 speed instead of the x16 standard speed. This complicate the things...
My suggestion is to use a GTX 260 "only" as a dedicated Physx card... It will not boost performance as a SLI configuration, but it might help a little...
No. It makes no difference what brand it is. It's a universal connection.
However as Dorado mentioned, the P7P55D does not support SLI.
And the x4 speed of a 2nd card would hurt performance. His suggestion of a GTX 260 "only" as a dedicated Physx card is the best option for your brother.
Oh, wow. That kinda sucks I tought all mother boards supported SLI and Crossfire, or maybe its because its so old?
Might just as well try to sell it for a cheap buck the card is still working fine. And now I am actually happy that I am kinda lazy and dident order that SLI bridge I was looking at.
