Just upgraded to windows 7 and im having problems with the resolution

    Okay, in that screen by default, all scaling is performed on the display, however you can set it up so the GPU performs all scaling operations. There's also three different scaling options

    1: Aspect ratio (maintains the aspect ratio of your display at all times)

    2. Full-screen (stretches the image across the screen)

    3. No scaling (does not scale the image at all)

    By clicking on the "Size" tab, you'll be able to adjust the image manually to fit your screen.

    my 2nd tab is called position :s i dunno if thats still the same though?

    Hmm.. try using the options there to readjust your screen if possible? I'm unfortunately using AMD graphics so i can't really try it out for myself at the moment to see what happens...

    Ok i tried setting it to the resolution i want and then moving it but it still had areas of "space" around the edges that just cut the image off. Suppose i was in need of an upgrade sometime soon anyway xD, i really appreciate you trying to help though

    Ah wow im stupid, i fixed it it was a problem with the actual settings of my screen. thanks for all the help and sorry for wasting your time :3

    No worries lol, sometimes the most obvious solution is completely oblivious to us, and i should have asked you to check on the manual display settings on your monitor itself
