Display driver crashing when starting internet videos.
I've had this problem for quite a long time now, I feel like I've tried everything that I can think of. There seems to be a large population of people with similar issues with different solutions but all to no avail.
Anytime I watch web videos, youtube comes to mind specifically. My display may OR may not crash. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it comes back, sometimes it doesn't. It seems like 50:50 and every time I open a video I roll the dice to see if I can watch or I'll have to restart.
Sometimes the driver crashes and recovers after a brief black screen.
More frequently it just crashes and my monitor loses the connection to the PC. (Monitor light blinks as if the PC was off) Restarting my PC fixes the issue.
I have:
-Tested Memory Via Memory test
-Updated and installed latest drivers.
-Rolled back to a earlier driver.
-Uninstalled Drivers - Booted safe mode- driver sweep- Installed Newest drivers.
-Uninstalled Drivers - Booted safe mode- driver sweep- Reinstalled older drivers.
-Tried multiple browsers- Chrome/Firefox
-Virus Scanned
-Clean registry (Via CCLeaner)
-Disabled Hardware acceleration (VIA DirectX SDK)
-Sent away my graphics card to XFX to have tested (Working 100%- XFXFORCE)
-Disc Defragmenter
Are there any other ideas?
