Catalyst Control Panel not displaying correctly

    Hi,

Yesterday I was uninstalling catalyst 12.6 for the 12.7 beta. As the Catalyst Install manager was uninstalling the drivers, the screen went black. This is obviously normal--but in this case it stayed black, even though I waited for 15 minutes. I then did a hard restart and, after finishing uninstalling the drivers in safe mode (the initial attempt didn't do the trick) and cleaning with Driver Sweeper/Driver Fusion, I installed 12.7. Everything works fine BUT Catalyst Control Panel is screwed up---there is the 'game ad' internet image in the middle but none of the tabs and settings are visible or accessible. Please see the attached screen shot. The settings can still be accessed through the taskbar icon (but this is quite limited i.e. I can't access overdrive). I repeated the uninstallation/cleaning process again (the same perma-black-screen issue arose) to downgrade to 12.6 (which previously had no issues) but the control panel problem persists. I installed all windows updates and reinstalled windows .net framework. Any other ideas please?

Should fill out your specs and i would have installed the beta over 12.6 for the reason you can roll it back

if you are using a 7000 series card that is one of the many issues that will happen but i am just assuming since you have nothing posted about your Machine

so please give us more information to help you better
