blocky video and pixellated games

Hi! i am not sure if this has been posted before but i have just recently build a new rig specs:

Amd fx 6100 3.3ghz 6-core
8gb ram
Asus M5A97 m/board
Radeon HD 6670

The problem is ,that only a few days ago videos (youtube and any internet video clips) has been blocky and corrupted.
Not only this, games are also affected where the colours are intermitantly flashing or not displayed correctly.
I have not changed any setting prior to this happening and i have not messed with any codecs
I have uninstalled the drivers and videos will be fine but obviously games wont be able to load.

I am using windows 7 home 64-bit and its only been a week of a fresh install.

Any help would be appreciated,thanks
