GTS 250 sli vs 660 TI

I have 2 gts 250 512mb in sli in a system with 780i evga mb, q6600@3.2ghz, 4gb ddr2 800. I'm looking to upgrade my system because its starting to show its age with newer games. I think upgrading the graphic cards would probably increase my performance the most until i can afford to buy other parts. And so i am wondering how much of an increase in performance will i get with a GTX 660 Ti 2GB?

Well your processor is fully up to spec, with a nice little OC on it to boot and your memory probably has another few years of usefulness in it, but you're certainly right that a graphics upgrade is needed. The 1344 CUDA cores on the 660 will certainly blow the twin 250s out of the water with their paltry 192 apiece, and... Who am I kidding? The 660 will be better in every single definable way.

And that is coming from an AMD fanboy.

Thanks for the reply! Ill get get the 660 then. But i doubt it would "blow it out of the water" since i can play almost everything on ultra except bf3. Also i can use one of the cards for a Physics card correct?
