Xfx Radeon HD 7770 (1gb) wont send signal to secondary screen.

    Hey

I have for some time now only runned single screen on my computer.
now i tried to attach second screen to the Dvi connection on the card but no signan comes to the screen.
Tried to change the cables around to make sure its not the screen - the screen works fine.

Can someone help me figure out why only the top DVI works on the card but the second one doesnt.

First screen runs with cable VGA to DVI
Second screen runs with cable VGA to VGA with VGA to DVI connecter that goes to card
this connecter also works in the top output.

    Graficcard: XFX Radeon HD 7770
    Screen: Lg Flatron
    Screen: Mirai

Hope someone has a great answer for me, that isnt to buy a converter from VGA to HDMI. =)

Your Card has from left to right: 2x display port 1x HDMI 1x DVI? Whats the connections on the monitors?

MrRex welcome to the Seven Forums.

Unfortunately this is the problem right here,

First screen runs with cable VGA to DVI
Second screen runs with cable VGA to VGA with VGA to DVI connecter that goes to card
this connecter also works in the top output.
You can only use one VGA connection, as only one of the DVI ports on the card is configured to support VGA via adapter. The only real solution is,

Hope someone has a great answer for me, that isnt to buy a converter from VGA to HDMI. =)
or DVI to VGA converter (not to be confused with the adapter you're currently using). That or replace one of the monitors with one that has DVI and/or HDMI.
