    quadro nvs 285 on 64 bit 7?

everytime i install the forcewar drivers for my card or let 7 install its driver for my card i get the infamous blue screen saying it is the video driver causing the issue. i have my video driver as " standar vga adapter" right now and it works but obviously cannot set up both my monitors or play any of my games. havent heard back from nvidia yet. i can run the 32 bit versin oof 7 with no issues at all, i can even run 64 bit with an old ATI Rage PCI card! don't know what to do, and yesi know i need to upgrade my card but i havent got there yet. i just need this to work with what i have untill i go buy a new card. Any help???

You mention that you can run an ATI card. By chance have you cleaned out all of the old ATI drivers? Sometimes if you don't completely clean them out with something like DriverCleaner they interfere.

Also, have you tried installing the Nvidia drivers in Safe Mode?

Driver Cleaner Pro v1.5 (freeware) Use driver cleaner to remove all ATI and Nvidia drivers. Then try and install your driver either in safe mode or as administrator. See if this cures your problem. http://www.nvidia.com/object/Quadro_...0.38_whql.html This is the Qudtro NVS 285 from Nvidia win 7 64 bit
