    Hello
Iresolved this problem with Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 on Windows 7 Ultimate x86
Aero is workingfine now. Everything in display is ok.
    Here is my solution:
    1- Disable Driver signing:
Disable Driver Signing in Windows 7
2- Download and install this driver :
    http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/9...ional_whql.exe
3- Installation will not continue.. it is ok .. leave it at final step.
4- it will extract the driver setup files in:
    C:\Nvidia\WinVista\96.85
5- Go to device manager and right click on Display Adapter \ Standard Display Adapter ( Or whatever was
    under that).
    6- Chose Update Driver software.
7- Chose : Browse my computer for driver software.
8- Chose : Let me pick a list of device drivers on my computer.
9- Then : click on ( Have a Disk) Button...
    10- Browse to :C:\Nvidia\WinVista\96.85
11- double click on the inf file that appears.. Then ok
12- A list of Adapter models will appear.
13- Chose : NVidia GeForce FX 5500 or Nvidia Quadro FX 5500 .. Whatever you chose.. Then .. Next.
14- A warning message will appear : Chose Yes .. then continue.
15- After installing driver .. Reboot your computer .. You will find everything is ok.. Then go to display and chose
any Aero Theme.. and Apply it.
Now you successfully installes a driver for FX 5500 on Windows 7 and Enjoy Aero.
    Best wishes : Ali Borsan

Geforce GTX 8800 or monitor probs

I Have a GTX 8800 GPU card and running my PC on a Philips FlatTV and running Windows 7 32bit.
I don't know which it is the GPU or the Monitor that's not allowing me to change the resolution from 800x600. when I go to Control Panel - adjust screen resolution, the resolution tab is just like it's blocked, I can't move it any way. The monitor is set on 75Hertz and True Color (32bit).
    Have you got any answer/s?

I'm not sure.. The thing is. My monitor is set to general php (or something like that). What I need it to be, is a general non-php (something...)
