The TX-3 is a fine cooler, I have one on an AMD 6-core CPU with a push/pull fan arrangement.

Well, then i won't have to worry about temps anymore :)
How about the Arctic freezer pro 7? It's 2x cheaper, + i can buy it faster.

How should i apply thermal paste? dot style, or corner2corner style? Witch one do you prefer? i have this paste: Newegg.com - XIGMATEK PTI-G3606 thermal grease

I think either cooler will be much better than a stock one. I like the TX-3 because the heat pipes are in direct contact.
I apply thermal paste by the dot method, put a rice grain size spot of it on the CPU and then put the cooler down with a slight twisting and tighten it down. Don't take it back up to see if it spreads, it will.

Arctic Silver 5 is my favorite. Newegg.com - Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound AS5-3.5G - Thermal Compound / Grease

Remember to remove the pre appied paste completely from the new cooler and the old paste from the CPU.

I have become a professional in applying thermal paste :) did it 10 times just for the curiosity
I to use the dot method, and i do it pretty well. After removing the heatsink, only a tiny layer remains on both sides

I think the dot method is best to get the most even spread and the CPU die is in the center of the IHS, Integrated Heat Sink, the part of the CPU one sees.

Do some gaming etc. whilst using the temp monitoring programs and see what happens.
    Good Luck.

Max temp in gaming is 47 C (@3680 Mhz- 15% OC)
but once i stop playing (or minimize it), the cooler does its job and brings it down to 35 C in 3 seconds the gpu didn't change its usual temp.

I did never mention that i changed the cooler on my graphics card
going to make a few pics of it once i finish my game

I hope you don't mind me asking this but your English is excellent. Do they teach this in school or have you studied in an English speaking country? I am from England and they teach basic French, Spanish and German but we English speakers are arrogant and lazy and just expect everyone else to speak English
