Windows 7 Memory Test: VRAM check?

(I hope it's the right category to post this).

Would it be right to assume that Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool tests all memory, not just RAM? During a test, it has reported problems on the 1st run, whereas MemTest 86+ hasn't done so after a day of testing.
I've been dealing with memory-related BSODs lately, and it seems now, after replacing the RAM, that the graphics card is at fault (which has further been proved by an 8E BSOD during a specific VRAM-test).
So, is Windows Memory Test meant to check VRAM as well?

    Thank you!

No, neither memtest+ or the Windows Memory Tester check VRAM.

The tool's name is Video Memory Stress Test (vmt.exe), it's a simple one, but, presumably, it checks VRAM in the same way MemTest tests RAM.
Well, it is possible that the PC had both RAM and graphics card problems.
As it is now, BSODs can occur during gaming or when trying to watch high-resolution video files.
Guess I'll try to replace the graphics card if a new GeForce 9600GT can be bought still.
Any suggestions of better testing software are welcome!
