    Monitor stuck @ 59hertz?


    Hey everyone I need some help I'm trying to set to 60hertz and it has the option and I click apply I even goto

    Adapter -> List all modes in there it shows 60hertz but whne i click apply it stays but when i close the window and go back in its still @ 59hertz?

    Please someone help me you can see my PC stats in my system specs.

    For the exact monitor I have its an

    Viewsonic Optiquest Q20wb

    I believe that is just windows rounding off to 59 instead of 60Hz. No monitor runs exactly at 60Hz, its usually something like 59.xx. Not sure why MS did this but it happens on all windows 7 rigs running an lcd (at least from what I've seen). I have not run into any issues with this but I have heard that very few games won't run because of it. Hopefully they fix it up soon. In the meantime you can go over this thread
