I just recently sold my HD 5770 and it scored a 7.4/7.5 on my system as well. I also don't think those tests accurately reflect what the HD4000 graphics will do, because according to everything I've read there is no way mine should run games as good as they do. I have no explanation for it either. I would agree it is equivalent to something in the HD 5000 series. In a flat out foot race, I would say it is close to a 5770, even though the WEI numbers are a full point lower.

I don't know about that I played Dead Island with a Diamond HD5770 and had the settings pretty close to maxed out and it ran smooth as butter HD4000 doubt would even come close to that

I would assume it would struggle especially with the Video cut scene's I don't even think it's in the league of a 5770 maybe a low end 5450 or closer to 5670 but no 5770

Like I said, it depends on the game and how it is coded more often than not.......some are more CPU dependent and some are more GPU dependent. That is the only explanation I have for why mine run so well. I probably should amend my statement to say that I believe they are close to my 5770 in the games I've played, because I can max out settings in those particular games with the HD4000. You are correct though, it's equivalent is probably a 5400-5600 card.
