Correct me if i'm wrong but from what i have experienced or read that you cannot run 2 x VGA monitors.
Looking at the picture you provided i think the DVI output is a single link DVI output. So will only work with a DVI monitor. Or maybe if the monitor has a HDMI input then you may get away with using a DVI to HDMI cable/ Adapter.

My main monitor has an HDMI input, the second monitor, however, does not.

If it was me i'd try running the HDMI monitor from the DVI output. Either with a HDMI to DVI cable or a HDMI to DVI adapter as a last resort. It still may not work though. Then run you second VGA monitor from the VGA output.

Well I've got a DVI cable coming in the mail any day now. If the DVI cable doesn't get things to work, I will definitely try the HDMI. Thank you for the suggestion. :)
