    help! how obtain high resolution on an HDTV without HDMI


    HI i'm new here

    how can i have 1366x768 resolution via the ordinary pc vga cable i have an hdmi port in the tv and the graphics card but the problem is i have an xbox 360 which is connected to the only HDMI port in the TV so the xbox is connected via hdmi and the pc is connected via VGA i have a samsung La22B350F2 TV so help plz

    You might try using a HDMI A/B switchbox to jump back & forth from computer & xBox .

    first thx for the quick reply, its super expensive in my region but can i use this http://computerwizard-al.com/electro...le_cable_1.jpg i mean can i plug the vga cable to the TV and the HDMI part to the graphics card?

    That looks like a possibilty. Not sure what the resulting resolution will be on the TV, but worth trying if it's not too expensive.
