Is it possible to upgrade a laptop "chipset"?

I've just recently got a laptop and I was wondering if upgrading its video capabilities like you would on a desktop?

Normally no because they're built into the motherboard.

Have you tried to assign more RAM to the Graphics Card in the bios?. Thats possibly the best change you can make. ( in regards to graphics )

From your model number it shows a Smart Card slot. You may be able to find a GPU that would fit that.

I can't find one on Newegg. I was going by the Wiki Article saying "external enclosures for desktop size PCI Express graphics cards" may be connected, but that would be a mess with one hanging out and finding power for it.
