graphic card memory.

bought a new laptop wanted to know much VGA card memory has because when i go advance tab in screen resolution its say
total 2298
dedicated 1024
aslo see attachment it cant understand if i want to play game and look up requirment i just wanted to is it campatible.
my english is not that good so dont mind my grammer.

Graphics card has 1GB ram on board.

Its sharing another 1GB+ ram from the system Memory.

best way to find out.

Open up a command prompt - and type dxdiag then press enter

New window should open, click on the Display tab - then look at your Total Memory

so simply its mean i have 1 gb VGA card in my laptop other 1 GB is shared with ram RIGHT?
so when i want to campare with machine are game requirment i take mine as 1 GB or 2
