im looking to upgrade my graphics card, what do you suggest?

    im looking to upgrade my graphics card, what do you suggest?


    at the moment i have
    graphics - AMD a4-3400 apu with radeon hd graphics 6410d (512mb)
    motherboard - gigabyte technology ( model ga-a55m-s2v)
    1 4gb ddr3 ram stick at 4096 mbytes
    3.3 volts sorry fps group (fps350 60 hcc)
    and another stick that is same specs but different make so i can used them together,
    im looking for at least 1 1gb+ graphics card that i can use 8gb of ram with, if i get two of the same make?
    can anyone help me?
    just to say i love seven forums they helped me with a lot!

    The only limit is how much you're willing to spend.

    what do you mean power supply? and well what would you suggest? i have the money but i dont want to go over the top

    For new RAM get a matched set of 2x4GB. The system will use what it need for graphics. Also you'll have to be aware of the length of your card. I am guessing you have a small case since you have a micro ATX board?
    I will reiterate what stormy13 said about the PSU, you'll need a larger one I suspect and of good quality, Corsair, Seasonic, or Antec make good ones.

    How many watts is your main computer power supply unit (PSU) rated at 500, 600, 700, 800, etc ?

    input 200 - 240v and i know i just can go and buy a better one because they dont work like that? could i have a specific model?

    also i would like to buy a new case fan? im not sure how fast mine is at the moment, but would 80mm be enough?

    A nice basic video card is the Radeon 7750, but it's not for gamers... You can pick it up for about $100 and it's got 1GB of DDR5. What do you want to use the card for?
