Image on display is distorted after removing graphics card.

I have been having trouble with a new graphics card. After weeks of fighting it, I just removed it from my PC
and began using the integral video on my motherboard.

Everything on the display is slightly stretched horizontally. Circles are ovals. I have set the screen resolution
    but still have distortion.

I have a dual boot system with Ubuntu Linux on the 2nd hard drive. There is no distortion on the Linux side.

Using Win7 x64. Graphics now from Gigabyte motherboard.

First thought that comes to my mind is make sure the drivers are updated. Go to the motherboard manufacturer's website and see if they have a download for it.

If you removed the video card then it will still try to use the drivers you installed for your video card. You will have to uninstall them and install the drivers for the integrated chip. Also make sure to "auto adjust" your monitor as well.

I had already removed grapics card drivers.

I signed in today and all was well. Must have been some Windows update that got loaded
automatically. I did not change settings at all but display is good now.
    Thanks
