    Weird graphic card memory

    Hi.

I just installed the driver for Ati Radeon x2300. Everything was fine but when I checked the Catalysts Control Center, and when I clicked the graphics hardware option, I see that my video memory is 895mb but when I look at the system information panel and click display, I see the card ram is only 128mb. But I really know that x2300 is really 128mb so why does it display in CCC that the memory is 895mb?

Because there is system memory it can use if 128MB is not enough, system ram becomes a fallback.

It "shares" system memory to get the job done.

Is this ok? My ram is only 2gb. Will it slow my laptop down?
