Re-enabled Nvidia GTS 450 card, now have a permanent black screen
For the past week or so, I've had problems seen here: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...ode-116-a.html, and seemingly solved the issue by installing an older driver. After a few days with no BSOD, it returned and I tried reinstalling the newest drivers again.
It still didn't work, so just a little while ago I figured disabling and re-enabling the graphics card using the device manager couldn't hurt. I disabled it, and the integrated graphics turned on, but then when I re-enabled, the screen went black. I since rebooted the pc a few times to no avail. I heard the windows startup jingle, so it seems the only issue is the graphics not displaying at all.
I can't remember my specs, but they should be in the zip file in the above thread that I linked (and also you could see the dump files if that helps). I'm assuming the first step to fixing this is removing the graphics card and letting integrated graphics take over, but then what? Thanks in advance.
