I doubt that the dots have much to do with the monitor profile that Photoshop doesn't like. I got the same message with a Samsung monitor (but no dots). You could try setting one of the standard color profiles in the Color control panel (example: sRGB IEC1966-2.1).

The dots may be the result of a hardware or driver issue. I've never used a 3D monitor, but I've seen artifacts on screen that turned out to be due to a dying graphics card. Getting it replaced (under warranty) solved the problem.

Please elaborate on "this screenshot does not have the same colors as my desktop"
-- most likely due to a color profile

    What theme are you using?

Hello and welcome moe might be worth trying reinstalling the NVidia driver my friend- cannot do any harm unless you have done that very recently

    Drivers | GeForce

PS since I posted I found some Youtube vids that suggested there are more options if you use a HDMI cable - why I have no idea because the DVI as you konw should carry the grpahics as well as the HDMI does.

I quickly skimmed the Rls notes for the driver, there's just too much to ask, so take a look at
    http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...ease-notes.pdf
to see if any of the known issues apply.

Guesses. Look in the Rls notes and see if these areas might affect your system.
PhysX config (CPU vs Auto Select)
Install/reinstall driver. According to the Rls notes, Control Panel, not Device Manager should be used to uninstall.
Audio messes up video - turn off audio

Please publish a Speccy snapshot (PUBLISH from the Speccy file menu) and post the URL on the thread. Thanks.
