    Hi,

Did you follow all the steps in the troubleshooter I gave you? As this will help eliminate causes?

    Also Please uninstall AVG completely:

    Install Microsoft Security Essentials.
Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability
compared to other antiviruses/internet security software.

Please update your BIOS to version:
    P01.B1 2.0 MB 12/08/2009:

    [BIOS Information (Type 0) - Length 24 - Handle 0000h]
    Vendor AMI
    BIOS Version P01-A3
    BIOS Starting Address Segment f000
    BIOS Release Date 05/26/2009
    BIOS ROM Size 100000

    Other things to try:

Reinstall Microsoft DirectX or install the latest version.
Ensure you have the latest Windows Updates.

One thing you could also try and to determine if your Graphics card is at fault:
    Navigate to:
Start > Computer > click System properties > in the left pane select > device manager
Find Display Adapter and expand, then right click on your device and click "disable"
Reboot and see if issues remain?

    Post back any outcome.
    Cheers

    Dave

Hi sorry for the late reply, Today I have just done everything on the list that you sent, Ive updated BIOS, direct x, un-installed AVG and installed ME. I have even taken the case off and cleaned the inside from dust. I have left the side off incase it was getting too hot but it still keeps happening.

The latest thing is when I try to record using the Webcam when im out the house (monitoring puppy being left alone) the machine will freeze and can only power off using the power button. Then it takes about 10-12 boot attempts to boot up. Though before that, playing graphic demanding games like flight sim x is fine, detail is on full and no problems at all.

You need to post a new log with the recent .dmp files.

    Hi,

There are no new crash dumps, the newest one in your zip file is dated 16/2/2013. Which is the
one I last analysed for you.

I will need the latest .dmp file for the crash you experienced?

I take it from what you said that there are no crashes when you are running safe mode?

    Cheers

i think the lack of crash dmps are because the BSOD has stopped, it just now wont boot straight off. I get a screen of back and white lines or a frozen screen with 1cm sq boxes of white lines

    Hi,

Ok. have you experienced another crash since the last analysis? As the dumps are the same
and do not show a recent BSOD?

And what are the results of Prime95/Furmark/SFC scans you ran?? You have not said?

    cheers
