I have upgraded the RAM to 11GB (added x2 4GB), also added a 7200rpm SATA hard drive internally.
The power supply has a label that reads 300W.
I recently purchased this XFX AMD 7770 HD graphics card:
XFX HD 7770 Core Edition 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI.. | Ebuyer.com
The card is installed but I now realise I need a 6 pin power lead to connect to the card :-O
I read somewhere that the card does not draw a lot of power and that my computer should be able to power it?
I've taken a video which hopefully can show off what's inside the computer: http://db.tt/hjbHfVSx
The question is, can I power the card using my existing setup? I've seen 6 Pin PCI-E to 2 X 4 Pin Molex Power Cables, could one of these be used? maybe split from an existing cable :-/
Ideally I'd like to use my existing setup, failing that I guess I would have to buy an upgraded PSU? Something I probably won't bother with as I expect that would open another can of worms?
Unless there is some sort of external power supply method?
Hoping someone could please offer some advice?
