I went and nosed around a couple of other forums I belong to, don't spend much time at them because this ones the best hands down, but couldn't find anything we haven't tried already. P.M.'ed someone on my "gamer" forum (Asus' Republic of Gamers) about it. Still waiting, but that forum isn't really active at least for this kind of thing. I'm at a lose but if I hear anything I'll post.
BIOS update did not help.... dang what could it be?!?!
any other ideas? im playing with drivers again....
*&$^%#$*@# saw you posted again and was hoping you'd solved it. My friend on RoG forum didn't have any ideas we haven't tried already. O.K. back to square one. You say its an external GPU? Have you tried a different interface if so? What kind? If external, is it usb3 compatible, assuming you have a usb3 port. If so are you using that? How about the chipset for your MB or CPU? Nvidia has a new WHQL release but I don't think it would apply to you, but might be worth a look. Have you tried any of the Beta and/or Legacy drivers for Nvidia : Drivers | GeForce
i believe its an internal driver conflict between the directx versions. ive been screwing with drivers and installing different ones, and i installed a mobility radeon 4530 driver, and the performance increased dramatically! but still lags a bit, so im still messing with drivers, and see which ones i can install and try. otherwise is an ATI 6770 GPU hooked up to the Express card slot on my laptop via PE4H adapter.
havent solved it yet, but im getting very close.... also all my specs are in the "my system specs" section
You're making more headway than I am......... maybe I should be giving YOU rep! I'll keep looking and will talk to Loki1334 again.
lol well its easier from my position. after all it is my computer and im stiing in front of it lol but thanks for your help! your the only one whos actually done something for me!
