Which gpu should i go for?

I'm planning to get 2 sorts of gpu's
    1: Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 3072MB Windforce
    and
    2: ASUS GeForce GTX 660Ti 2048MB DirectCUII

Looked at a video and saw that the radeon is beeing very "spike laggy" is it just my vid or is it reallity.
and the gtx 660Ti seems a lot smoother..

I personally think its the video...

Eyefinity is worth it alone....IMHO, but both are top flight cards.

You're "My specs" say you have a laptop. I would assume, this is for a desktop. and if so what are the specs for the desktop.

also, here's a comparison of the two cards: http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards....=670&card2=664

the 660ti has a higher text. fill rate, and higher processor speed, but the 7950 has higher bandwidth.

So it would depend on your other spec's as to what can benefit you the most if there are any bottlenecks

also, 660ti has a higher passmark score and value score here: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gp...Radeon+HD+7950

Ok I don't think there would be any bottlenecks with that then. :)

good to know it's for a new build. set up looks real good.

I have seen threads in here with laptop users wanting to upgrade their graphics cards i am currently watching a thread where a user is having issues with a desktop APU so you see all sorts of stuff in here...

I would also get a better monitor when you get the chance... 1600x900 isn't going to look as good as 1920x1080 and you won't be getting the value out of a $300 gfx card

also when you get all the parts,
feel free to post build pics before, during after, etc. here: https://www.sevenforums.com/overclock...ig-4-a-76.html

Oh also, if you have money for it, get an SSD for the OS and games. you will not be dissapointed.
