3 month old Graphic Card Overheating.

Okay,I have started realising that my relatively new graphic card 650 gtx(only three months old,bought it at december 2012 around christmas) has been giving me issues.First,it was purple text while surfing the net.Second,while i was playing World Of Tanks on minimum settings,I had 2 computer crashes where the whole system rebooted itself.Third,while playing World Of Tanks,i had 3 boxes of distorted graphics.So I have now figured that my graphic card has probably overheated a little bit.I used to own a Geforce 560 gtx which was so much more heat stable and I can pretty much run BF3 on High Settings for 8-10Hours straight without overheating but the card fried when i played AC1 on high sadly and had to downgrade.

Idle Temp:38-43C
While Playing WoT:45-55C
My question is this,should i get this gpu fixed or should i buy something better,more heat stable?

These temperatures are not so high. My 4 month old GTX 690 sometimes reach 80°C when 100% loaded in benchmarks, and stays at 38°-40°C in idle.
Your GTX 650 could be broken...

What PSU have you got?
Are you overclocking the card?

I ran Furmark benchmark for 10minutes.
At 99%load,my graphic cards stays around 79 to 80C.
I don't overclock my cards for fear of overheating.(I have probably overheated 3 graphic cards)
I am unsure of my PSU manufacturer,i think it was FSP Aurum 50+ Gold 600Watt PSU.

These temps are normal at 100% load..

You might try your old GPU to see if the isues are still present. Check the video cables and connectors they plug into to see if they may be loose.

That only happens when you don't set a fan profile to conquer the heat at that high of a clock usually have to set it atleast a good 65 to 70% fan speed and good case circulation and good fans

@britton,I am not going to use my previous GPU because it is malfunctioning and it gives me screen flicker with gray spots on the computer.

Okay,today it happened again.My computer produced boxes of distorted graphics which were in pinkish colour.I think I should get it RMA'D since I have 1 year warranty.

This graphic distortion seem to happen once in a month,Im certain of it.
