Hi,I got it to work in the 7000 version using compatability mode eventually after many attempts, but it doing the exact same thing on me again in 7048 and I just haven't got it in me at the moment to start fighting with it once again ,meaning installing /uninstalling blah blah, now I see the registry key that Stayinheaven, is talking about, but mine already has the semi colon after the drive letter, but it does not say EIO.dll at the end of it, H:\Program Files(x86)\Asus\SmartDoctor\ is all it says.?

Look in that file it points too, H:\Program Files(x86)\Asus\SmartDoctor, and see if that file even exists.
