    Hi sydjunaidshah,

It appears that the display drivers in your unit have gone corrupt; may lead to the display issues, hibernation related issues. Deteriorated display drivers may also be lead to the system running on the slow at times. Please try re-installing the drivers to see if that helps.

'Inspiron n5520' is available with the following integrated and discrete graphics option:

Seems like you purchased the notebook with the 'discrete card' option. Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall the current set of drivers:
    - Click start > Control Panel > Device Manager > Expand Display Adapters > AMD Display Adapter should be listed there (Please refer to the image below)

    - Right click 'AMD Radeon' > Uninstall > Also delete the 'graphic software' is prompted > Follow through with the uninstall process > Allow the system to restart
    - Click Driver Details | Dell US > Click 'Download file' > Complete installation as per the on-screen instructions > Recheck the system performance and speed.
    - Also refer to this tutorial to ensure that the 'hibernation' is enabled: Hibernate - Enable or Disable > Check if the system now enters into hibernation.

If the issue persists, you may also try to update its BIOS. Please follow the steps as listed below:
Note: Before flashing the BIOS please check: Battery should have 10% or greater charge; Adapter should be connected; No external devices should be connected; All other programs should be closed and documents saved
    - Click Driver Details | Dell US > Download and install the file as per the on-screen instructions.

Do reply with the findings; would be glad to assist.
