What a HOOT!

You the MAN, carwiz! I unplugged from the puter, reinstalled drivers, I would have unplugged the monitor but the window was closed. Thanks for the reminder to start simple.

When I first turn on my computer in the morning the monitor doesn't recognize anything. But then if I turn off the computer and then turn it back on the monitor works. How can I avoid having to restart my computer every time I turn it on? thanks for the help.
