    Second Monitor turning negative(HDMI)

    Hello all,
Since I got my new GPU, I have been having a problem with my second display. When I want to turn it on(through Catalyst) as an extention to my main dispaly, it does turn on, but after about 5-10 minutes the colors turn negative and I have to disable and re-enable it in order for it to get back normal again. My GPU is a Sapphire Radeon HD7850 OC, and the second monitor is connected through HDMI. Last time I checked my drivers where up to date. Anyone knows why this happens and how to fix it ?

    Thank you in advance!

If it has two HDMI ports, try the other one.

    Try another HDMI cable.

If still an issue after that, if that monitor has a different connection other than HDMI, I would try using it to verify it's not a an overall monitor issue and just HDMI failure, port on the monitor or the video card, either way, not reasonably fixed.

HDMI has me annoyed on my own rig, rather DVI, but only one on my 7950.

Could try underclocking or normal clocking in Catalyst also, just in case that OC has caused the problem.

All right, so changing the port didn't solve the problem. However, I swapped the cable with another one and so far(about half an hour) I haven't seen a problem. I will leave it for another two hours and if the problem looks like it's fixed, i will mark the topic as solved.. Thanks for the help :)

    Edit:
So, after two hours the times its color changed were less, but however it kept turning negative..

Connect both monitors with the dvi connection, unless you are running sound to the monitors, there`s no reason to use hdmi.

Then I would get on the phone to Sapphire, see what they say, you may just get a new card.

Alright, so after several fails with the HDMI, I decided to go with a VGA(my 2nd monitor is way too old for DVI :P) and play the sound directly from the PC and not from the second monitor. Thanks for the help guys :)
