Windows aero and graphics card

Hi all,
I ran the upgrade advisor and it said for my video card that I had to upgrade the video card. Any chance that by disabling windows aero i can skip having to upgrade my card?

Yep, of course. You can use any video card you want as long as you don't care about the interface. Set a basic theme and you're good.

What card are we talking about? It is possible that you didn't install the driver yet, causing Windows to say this, while it really is capable.

Or not.

Ok cool. There is hope. :)
My card is Intel 82865G. I haven't installed windows 7 yet just incase it doesn't work properly. I can't see a driver upgrade for windows 7 on the intel support site.
