The AMD FX-8350 is just so much lower in price right now, I was considering one since I have a AM3+ compatible motherboard.
I am gaming still with the ugly old (weaker) step brother Phenom II X6 1090T and it's handling all fine I play paired with a Radeon HD 7950.
