I was wondering more about a general case temperature. Now that I've looked at your case, I'm sure you will have plenty of airflow to accommodate a new graphics card. New cards are more efficient and have better cooling than the older cards, so you don't need to turn your PC into a mini wind tunnel.
I don't know if you can, it's more of just a general feeling. If your fans are spooled up all the time, the ambient case temps might be a little high. With the hardware you have, your cooling solution is more than enough. You are good to go.
Honestly a 7950 would be ideal and also the extra Vram will come in handy on bigger resolutions
