Will PCI-E 2.1 card work with P5L-MX (1.0)?

    Will PCI-E 2.1 card work with P5L-MX (1.0)?


    I know that most 2.1 video cards are backwards compatible with 1.0, but not in all cases.
    So I just wanted to see if someone can help me out.
    Will a Sapphire HD 5450 1GB card work with my Asus P5L-MX motherboard?
    And I know that IF it works that performance will drop to 1.0 compatibility, but I assume that it will still be better than my MSI Geforce 210 PCI-E 2.0 card?

    Yes it will work. Even at 1.0 I doubt that you would notice any difference if it was run in a 2.0/2.1/3.0 slot.

Will card work?

I have the MSI 785GM-E51 mobo, using it's onboard video (Radeon HD4200); 4Gigs of memory & a 500w PSU. Does anyone know if the Asus HD 6670 video card would be compatible w/what I have?
I just purchased a new graphics card. I have a Lenovo Y710 Laptop. It came with an ATI radeon HD 2300 and I got an ATI radeon HD 4550. I was eager and stupid and didn't install any drivers or update the BIOS. swapped out the cards and it didn't work. so i switched back. I got the drivers installed...
hi all am new here and new to windows 7, i have put a pci tv card wintv 44005 card in my pc and installed drivers then it still says can not find the card ive been trying for hours now and dont have a clue what am doing lol thankyou for any help
