the appeal of these 5 series cards is hard to resist, but im hoping Nvidia are going to realize they cant price GT300 extortionately, otherwise i'll be heading for ATI

I have just made this switch and realizing there isn't much solid information one can grab on google concerning this particular switch.
...yes there is a big difference.
Especially in the way of anti-aliasing where as on the 5850 AA means a massive hit to frame rate, with the gtx580 it doesn't...
So i have fully updated drivers from ATI for my ATI HiS HD5850 gpu drivers are 11.2(newest for windows 7) and it seems when i start/stop videos, or while watching live broadcasting on JTV, xfire, ustream, ngametv you name it there will be a flicker across my two monitors, one running...
why is the hd 6850 a lot cheaper than the hd 5850 series video cards?
even now, the new series are cheaper than the 5850 series.

Anyone else having issues playing a 1080P video on there computer with the 5xxx cards? My 5850 will not play them. Tested alot of 1080P videos that i have on the system.
Other movies are fine.
Games - fine.
Setting the TV to a different resolution - No fix
I can click on a time frame...
