GeForce GTS 250 w/ Windows 7 64-bit...slower??

hi guys,

i recently installed windows 7 ultimate 64-bit and i'm pretty happy with it, except i get the feeling games are running a lot more slowly...

i own an Asus Geforce GTS 250 1gb (Dark Knight).. i've downloaded the latest drivers and i still feel i used to get a better performance out of my GPU running the games over XP...

does this make any sense at all..?
