graphic card VGA cant get rid windows 7 64 bit

    what will it be under maxie, the correct graphics adapter or have i got myself the right one? my resoltion isnt what it was thats what makes me think something isnt right!

    OP, Windows 7 doesn't come with video drivers for various cards, that VGA is the default.

    You need one for your specific GPU, be it on board or an addon video card.

    A TV tuner card is a separate animal needing it's own drivers.

    Just explaining the basics, because someone sounded confused. :)

    Now, it's pretty much all based on Intel, AMD Radeon, or Nvidia GeForce, for video, all the rest are obsolete, or specialty products.

    Intel graphics media is on the cd and on the computer . the highest resolution just now is 1152 x 864 , now i know it should be higher than that i have on my latop :
    Intel management engine components
    Intel turbo boost technology monitor
    Intel turbo boost technology driver
    none of which i think are working as a small window used to sit on my screen which it now doesnt
    Im beginning to think i need to reinstall and start over, what do you guys think

    ive got them all downloaded and saved to external, plus i have my original cd drivers, now where do we go start a fresh?? if so better back up the programs ive put on :0)

    Hi there .. Do you want to do a Clean Install .. Do you have a Windows Disc with a Product COA key .. If so you should back up first to external Drive
