I would imagine it would be worth trying the Intel Graphics driver
what will it be under maxie, the correct graphics adapter or have i got myself the right one? my resoltion isnt what it was thats what makes me think something isnt right!
hi maxie installed it but still no joy, im going off line for now but will catch you tomorrow and huge thanks for helping me :0)
OP, Windows 7 doesn't come with video drivers for various cards, that VGA is the default.
You need one for your specific GPU, be it on board or an addon video card.
A TV tuner card is a separate animal needing it's own drivers.
Just explaining the basics, because someone sounded confused. :)
Now, it's pretty much all based on Intel, AMD Radeon, or Nvidia GeForce, for video, all the rest are obsolete, or specialty products.
Intel graphics media is on the cd and on the computer . the highest resolution just now is 1152 x 864 , now i know it should be higher than that i have on my latop :
Intel management engine components
Intel turbo boost technology monitor
Intel turbo boost technology driver
none of which i think are working as a small window used to sit on my screen which it now doesnt
Im beginning to think i need to reinstall and start over, what do you guys think

Hi there .. Do you want to do a Clean Install .. Do you have a Windows Disc with a Product COA key .. If so you should back up first to external Drive
