only have 128mb on board graphics.... would video card help..

ok i need some help... my wife has a desktop PC it has only 128MB on board graphics, the PC has 8gb or ddr3 memory and a tb hard drive and 3.2 dual core cpu.. she does surfing on the web, and only plays games liek i facebook and also a few we buy like hide and seek games. and card games... my question is would she get better performance if we get a video card, or will she not see much improvement. with what she does...

depends whay you refer to as improvement. if the current pc handles everything your wife does and plays without slowdown or crashing then no you wont see any improvement as you cant do better than something working.

if the games lag and theres noticible slowdown then yes even a cheap dedicated gpu will make an improvement.

jusy make sure the computer has a pci slot free on the motherboard.
