    So you're saying a GTX680 2GB won't max out BF3 at 1080p on one monitor?

    Hi

    Thanks for all your answers.

Maybe I should mention that noise is a very important factor for me, because I play in the living room :)

My budget is about 320 euro :)

Is the amount of ram that important? most high end cards have 2 MP it seems.

the new batman is lucky if it uses 1gb of the 280x ram at max settings on 1080p. 3GB is future proofing, imo id got for either the 280x or the 290x

Don't forget the new non X 290 was released today, it's cheaper but is still as hot.

    Yes, but you also said

also you really need more than 2gb of vram.
Which is simply not true. Games like Skyrim and BF3 (which you quoted) will run perfectly well at max settings with 2GB VRAM on say, a 680.

Well Ok - maybe I buy ASUS GeForce GTX 780 3GB PhysX CUDA instead.

Is my Seasonic M12D Powersupply 750W enough for that? :)

That's what I thought Solar until my new Classified 780 took out my Antec truepower 750 yesterday The PSU was approaching 3 years of life though and I believe the classified uses a lot more power than a regular 780.
