    Overclocking pass the safe limit?

So my friend has a 6670 GDDR3 2GB and he was wondering if it's possible to control the voltage of the card so he overclock pass the safe limit of 900MHz core clock. The base clock is 800MHz core clock and he want's to try and get it to run at 950MHz core clock with the fan speed at a higher speed of course, what software allows him to do this?

Use amd ccc overdrive. Take it in small steps and watch the temp. That card has no fans so you wont get much. I wouldnt let it go over 85C.

That's what he uses and the safe overclock he can achieve is 900MHz, he was asking is another software can allow him to control the voltage so he can go beyond the 900MHz limit. Under full load the card hits 47C.

Asus Trixx software and MSI afterburner

Being honest though your friend should just sell that card and buy something better

Overclocking that card will show little gain honestly

That card is not even comparable to a HD5770 http://www.hwcompare.com/10882/radeo...-6670-oem-1gb/

You would be wasting your time I would start saving and look into something a heck of a lot better

That would still put up better frames then what he is getting http://www.hwcompare.com/15687/radeo...adeon-r9-270x/

Just make sure his PSU can handle it

So he was messing around with the MSI Afterburner and noticed he couldn't mess around with the voltage even with it being unlocked in the settings? We already talked about the 270X being a wise decision but just wants to fiddle around with his current card...
