    GPU Upgrade Advice

    Hello, everyone.

Anyway, I have been looking at the recent GPU wars between the green and red. I am interested in either the 760 or the 280X due to budget restrains. They both have good promotions for the games and offer but I was wondering how do the code works? I live in Singapore so, am I safe to say that if I were to go out and buy either a 760 or 280X, I'm eligible for the games? Or I must wait for the promotion to 'come' to Singapore?

Another questions, since I'm on a budget (USD$300) and I can either only get 760 or 280X, I was wondering which of the card can I squeeze out the most performance? I would like to play casual BF4, GTA V (hopefully on PC) some maybe some other 'graphics-intensive' games on decent settings. Also, is there any other card like 660TI or 270X which is cheaper than my budget can I also get the equal performance too? I would prefer to save as much as possible to get other peripherals.

Sorry for all the questions and thanks again.

I would roll either way if you don't care about Brands go with the 280x

it is optimized for Battlefield 4 and uses Mantle a new type of GPU processing

The HD 7970 is the equal to the 280x as for as the free games are concerned they should come with codes either sent though mail or you go online and redeem them with your purchase I would assume where ever you buy it they give the code up front after purchase

Out of the two the 280x is the better performing card. It's roughly equivalent to the gtx 770.

And while Bf4 is better optimized for AMD due to mantle, so far it's the only game that currently supports it. I wouldn't expect to see many mantle optimized games for a while.

Without knowing the details of the code offers, it's hard to say if they'd be redeemable in Singapore.

What games are they? Do they mention Steam, origin, Uplay?

    Thank you for the suggestions.

By the code you meant, do they include inside the box or given by the retailer themselves?
