Guys, sorry about not getting back to your earlier. For some reason I stopped receiving email notifications of additional posts. Thank you for your suggestions. I've been running the two cards at stock speeds and they've been performing without issues. I do plan to upgrade my system per my latest post here:

I plan to invest in both a larger case, and a MB that has space between the two graphics card slots... just not sure if this black friday is the optimal time... I will mark this thread as solved. Thanks again.

After a little high graphics gaming last night I've finally lost my temper with the fan on my Sapphire Radeon HD4870. Over time it has, as is normal with fans, gotten louder and less effective. Currently it is louder than either my airconditioner, the traffic with the window open, the aircraft...

Graphics card cooling
Hi guys, I have a GTX 285 and it's running hot (60C when idle, 80+ in games). I have checked the fan and it's working fine. What can I do to make it run cooler? Add a GPU fan? or any other suggestions please.
